Compare the Market is seeking a Graduate Machine Learning Engineer to join its Data team in London.

As a Graduate Machine Learning Engineer, you will work with experienced Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to productionise machine learning models and transform prototypes into reliable, scalable services. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience with modern machine learning tools, MLOps practices, and AI deployment in a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to deploy machine learning models into production.
  • Develop and maintain machine learning pipelines for training, validation, and deployment.
  • Apply best practices in testing, CI/CD, version control, and infrastructure as code.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and analysts in cross-functional teams.
  • Learn and grow through mentorship from experienced technical leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or expected graduation) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative field.
  • Minimum expected classification equivalent to a UK 2:1 degree.
  • Experience with Python through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
  • Understanding of machine learning workflows and model evaluation.
  • Interest in MLOps, model governance, and responsible AI.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments.
