Graduate Manufacturing Technician
Location: Lincoln
Salary: Up to £28K
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated graduate to join our Manufacturing team, supporting the assembly, testing, and repair of high-reliability electronic products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electronic and RF products following engineering drawings, work instructions, and test procedures.
- Carry out mechanical assembly, PCB soldering, and other manufacturing processes to required quality standards.
- Complete production documentation and test records accurately.
- Support fault finding and repair activities on production units and returned products.
- Adhere to Health & Safety, ESD, and quality requirements at all times.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering and Production teams to meet delivery targets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including 5S and process improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Practical aptitude and enthusiasm for hands-on engineering.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation and drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Desirable
- Placement year, internship, laboratory, or project experience within an engineering environment.
- Basic soldering, electronics assembly, or testing experience.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
- Familiarity with RF, microwave, or electronic systems.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
