The Kind of Person We Need
We need someone who stands out – it's what we do!
We are looking for an exciting (and excited!), creative graduate marketer who is ready to join an agency specializing in crafting marketing campaigns that drive growth for our clients.
This role is for a graduate who can’t wait to get started and who wants to deliver impactful marketing activities for their clients from day one. You will have named clients to work on and, supported by our Client Services Director and Senior Marketing Executives, you will work on a range of deliverables across the full marketing mix, including content, SEO, social media, and campaigns.
There are a few essentials we need you to get to grips with, so we have developed a mix of formal training, mentorship, on-the-job experience, and self-directed learning over the first six months to accelerate your growth in this role.
Scarecrow Digital is on a mission to become the leading international, full-service B2B agency for growing Tech, SaaS, and Professional Service companies. So, we need an exceptional person ready to take the first step in their marketing career and join our growing team.
The Job
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Support the delivery of client marketing campaigns across the full marketing mix
- Deliver research projects
- Create and publish social media content
- Basic design work
- Establish and communicate clients’ differentiators
- Develop “value proposition” focused messaging
- Build and execute multi-stage, multi-channel marketing plans (including website, e-mails, physical collateral, and social media)
- Continual SEO monitoring and improvements
- Assist in building and optimizing data capture and usage for strategic marketing output
- Participate in meetings with clients, project management, and contribute to marketing reports and insights
- Support our team and business growth using your knowledge and experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Opportunities to Progress
Following around a year of meeting the expectations of the role, demonstrating the ability to work independently, and mastering the skills and experience of a Marketing Executive, you will no longer be considered a graduate, entry-level member of the team.
After that, there’s a route to Senior Marketing Executive we have supported team members through, and we can get the right person there. Seniors take the lead on developing and implementing marketing strategies for their clients while supporting the work of junior members of staff and contributing to the commercial growth of Scarecrow Digital.
Beyond that, we are a growing business, and there are many potential opportunities for development as we add clients and team members and grow our services. We expect members of the team to take on additional responsibilities, develop specialisms, or become leaders as the business grows.
We Offer
- A competitive salary
- Flexible working options
- 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and a birthday holiday
- The opportunity to progress and increase earnings along with business growth.
