Graduate Marketing Executive

About Scrumconnect

Scrumconnect is a multi-award-winning digital consultancy, recognised for delivering impactful and innovative technology solutions across UK government departments. Our work has positively influenced the lives of over 40 million UK citizens.

We are passionate about user-centred design, agile delivery, and building digital services that make a real difference. Our teams work at the forefront of innovation, helping organisations transform and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that truly matter.

The role

This is a rare opportunity for a recent graduate to benefit from genuine, hands-on grounding across the full marketing mix, working directly alongside a market-experienced CMO who brings deep expertise in technology B2B marketing.

As a Graduate Marketing Executive at Scrumconnect, you won't be confined to a single narrow lane of marketing. You will get exposure to brand and content, campaigns and demand generation, events, social and digital channels, PR, and internal communications, all within the B2B technology context of our audience of UK government and enterprise clients.

This is a varied, hands-on role that is full of activity. You'll be doing real work from day one, with experiential learning bolted on throughout. One week you might be helping shape messaging for a new proposition launch, while the next you could be helping us ramp up a new campaign. You will cover everything from supporting our events, drafting social content, creating a landing page or pulling together performance reporting. Underpinning all of this, you will work closely with the CMO on a day-to-day basis, contributing to how marketing strategy is built and executed in a growing AI and technology consultancy, and building the commercial and creative thinking that sits behind every campaign.

If you love getting stuck in, move fast, and are keen to build a genuine foundation for a career in marketing, then you'll thrive in this role. We’d love to hear from you.

Hybrid working and requirement to travel

This is a hybrid role with an in-office requirement of one day a week working in a Scrumconnect office, one of those days in our Staines head office per month. Please note that commuting costs are not expensable.

There is a level of field marketing required for this role which will mean occasional overnight business travel to support activity. The company covers this type of travel in line with our expenses policy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
