Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
Birmingham | Full-Time | £20,000-£25,000 | Immediate or September start

We are looking for an enthusiastic and high-calibre Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant to join an ambitious secondary school in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a passion for Mathematics to gain hands-on experience in the classroom while working alongside experienced teaching professionals.
You will support students across the secondary Maths curriculum, helping pupils strengthen their understanding while providing additional challenge and encouragement to those working at a higher level.

Key Responsibilities
- Support students during Maths lessons alongside experienced teachers
- Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support
- Help stretch high-achieving pupils through problem-solving and extension activities
- Assist with preparing engaging lesson resources and materials
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence and independence in Mathematics
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong degree in Mathematics or a related subject, ideally at 2:1 or above
- Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Mathematics
- The ability to communicate clearly and explain complex concepts in an accessible way
- A passion for supporting young people and helping them succeed
- A proactive, ambitious, and professional approach
- The right to work in the UK
