My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Birmingham on a permanent basis.
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Apprenticeship/Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- A sound understanding of Engineering
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experienced working with a range of manufacturing processes
- Hands-on technical experience through your course
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
- Organised with excellent communication and customer service skills

The Graduate Mechanical Engineer Role Will Involve
- Supporting/overseeing the Projects and Service team
- Dealing with customers on a technical level
- Working to budgets and project timings
- Investigating new product lines and areas within which the company can expand
- Being involved in different manufacturing processes
- Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
- Keeping track of company documentation, equipment, and necessary upgrades
