Role Description
The Graduate Online & Showroom Sales Executive – New Cars & Vans is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham. In this position, the executive will respond to online enquiries, manage leads through digital channels, and guide customers through the buying journey for new cars and vans.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Greeting and assisting showroom visitors
- Conducting vehicle presentations and test drives
- Preparing accurate quotations
- Supporting customers with finance and purchase options

The role also involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, updating online listings, coordinating with the wider sales and operations team, and ensuring that all customer interactions are recorded in the CRM system. The executive will work toward individual and team sales targets while maintaining a professional, inclusive, and customer-centric environment.

Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with diverse customers.
- Sales and negotiation skills, including confidence in presenting products and closing deals in both online and showroom settings.
- Digital literacy, including comfort with online sales platforms, basic social media use for customer engagement, and CRM or database systems.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads, appointments, and follow-ups efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team, take initiative, and adapt to a fast-paced retail automotive environment.
- Degree-level education (or equivalent experience), ideally in business, marketing, or a related field; prior experience in sales or customer-facing roles is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to detail in documentation and quotations.
- Willingness to work showroom hours, including weekends or bank holidays as required, and a genuine interest in the automotive sector.
- Full UK driving licence (or ability to obtain one in the near term) is highly beneficial for conducting test drives.
