About The Role
Day Lewis is one of the UK's leading independent pharmacy groups, with 225+ pharmacies, multiple warehouses and a growing NHS and private services portfolio.
We are looking for a bright, organised and adaptable graduate to work directly alongside our Operational Excellence Manager on the planning and delivery of pharmacy services and central projects. It is a broad role that touches many parts of the business including coordinating projects, working with data, drafting communications and helping pharmacies adopt new systems and ways of working.
No two weeks are the same, and you will gain real exposure to operations, healthcare services and stakeholder management from day one. We welcome applications from graduates of any discipline. What matters most is your attitude, analytical mindset, curiosity and willingness to get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities
Projects and services support
- Help plan and coordinate delivery of pharmacy services and central projects, tracking workstreams, milestones, deadlines and owners.
- Maintain project plans and action trackers, chasing actions to keep delivery on schedule.
- Monitor progress across the pharmacy estate, flagging risks, blockers and areas needing support or escalation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
