Learn the Operation. Improve the Operation. Shape the Future.

OR

Make it happen. Solve real problems. Build your career in Operations.

Are you ready to kick-start your career with one of the UK’s fastest-growing technology and logistics businesses?

At InPost, we’re transforming the way people send, collect and receive parcels. Behind every successful parcel journey is a complex operation from route planning and network design to technology, engineering, quality and the people who make it all happen.

That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a curious, analytical and proactive graduate who wants to understand how an operation works, find better ways of doing things and make a visible impact from day one.

This isn’t a graduate programme where you’ll spend two years watching from the sidelines. You’ll get involved in real projects, work alongside experienced operational teams and have the opportunity to Own it, Dare to Disrupt and Make it Happen as you build your experience.

Why Join InPost?

As a Graduate Operational Support Manager, you’ll join our Parcel Operations Support team at an exciting time of transformation.

You’ll work across a wide range of operational areas, giving you a unique view of how our network works and how different teams come together to deliver for our customers.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Use data and technology to improve operational performance.
  • Understand how route planning and last-mile operations work.
  • Improve processes through Standard Operating Procedures and continuous improvement.
  • Support capacity planning and network design.
  • Understand how technology, engineering and automation support our operations.
  • Develop operational training and help colleagues deliver consistently high-quality service.
  • Monitor quality, compliance and operational performance.
  • Manage projects and collaborate with stakeholders across the business.

No two days will be the same — and that’s exactly the point.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll get hands-on experience across our Operations Support function, including:

  • Peak planning and execution – support preparation, readiness reviews and execution during key trading periods.
  • Route planning and last-mile operations – learn our route planning systems and understand different last-mile delivery methods, including opportunities to explore greener alternatives.
  • Network design and capacity planning – understand how we assess Hub and Depot capacity and support the evolution of our growing network.
  • Continuous improvement – review, update and create Standard Operating Procedures, following processes from start to finish and identifying opportunities to make them better.
  • Operational training – help develop training materials, deliver training and measure whether learning is being successfully implemented.
  • Technology and AI – explore how technology, AI and data can improve operational processes, decision-making and ways of working.
  • Project management – contribute to transformation and improvement projects across the business, collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Engineering – gain an understanding of the technology, equipment and systems that support our hubs and depots.
  • Quality – support operational audits and initiatives designed to improve consistency, reliability and the customer experience.
  • Security and compliance – learn how we protect customer parcels and InPost assets and how technology supports our proactive approach to security.
  • Operational performance – use data to identify trends, understand problems and help turn insight into practical improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
