Graduate Operations Analyst – Financial Services
London – Liverpool Street
5 days per week in the office
Are you a bright, curious graduate looking to build a career within financial services?
We’re recruiting a Graduate Operations Analyst to join a successful financial services business in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop a long-term career within Operations and Middle Office, while also using technology to improve, streamline and automate the way things are done.
You don’t need years of experience. We’re looking for someone with potential, curiosity and a genuine desire to learn.
The opportunity:
You’ll join an experienced team and gain hands-on exposure to the operational side of a financial services business, learning how transactions, systems and processes work from end to end.
This isn't a role where you'll simply be expected to follow existing processes. The team wants someone who will learn how things work, ask intelligent questions and, as their knowledge develops, challenge whether things could be done better.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
