Graduate Opportunity: Care Assistant to Business & Marketing Graduate
We have an amazing opportunity for you to become a live-in Care Assistant to a university graduate currently based in Newport. Our client is looking for a likeminded individual to assist her with personal care and daily living.
Start Date: September 2026 (Training over the summer)
Location: Newport
Shift Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off
Rate of Pay & Benefits:
- Pay: £200 per day // £1400 per week worked
- Accommodation provided when on shift
- Bespoke training on the client's particular requirements will be provided
- On-call support from the client coordinator
About our Client
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a 28-year-old university graduate. She studied Business Management and Marketing at Cardiff University followed by a Masters degree in Marketing with festivals and events management at Edinburgh Napier University. Our client is a physically disabled wheelchair user with a condition that is likened to Schwartz-Jampel Syndrome.
She takes pride in her appearance such as getting her nails done. She is very independent and sociable but will also spend time chilling in the flat watching Netflix, TV, listening to music. This young individual also enjoys eating out and socialising. You would be required to accompany her to appointments, events, venues, and when socialising with friends.

About the Job

Skills required for this job:
- The ability to adapt to different situations
- Knowledge or interest in Business and Marketing
- A mature and responsible attitude
- Being able to work from your own initiative
- Organised, patient, reliable
- Caring and have a good sense of humour
- Be professional
- Previous complex care experience (desirable)
- Fluent in English
- Be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence, as you will be required to drive the client's adapted car
