Job title: Graduate Shared Services Procurement
Location: Preston (Lancashire)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-4 days per week.
Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role Description
As a Graduate Procurement Associate, you will engage with stakeholders across all business units to help develop and deliver global procurement strategies. You will support negotiations for both existing and new contracts, ensuring the business achieves the best balance of cost and service while striving for world-class procurement solutions. The role involves managing supplier relationships to maintain professional and effective partnerships, supported by appropriate performance metrics. You will also undertake operational procurement activities, including requisition and invoice approvals, and gain exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle, from stakeholder engagement and demand management through to sourcing, tendering, and contract negotiation. This is an excellent opportunity to build a broad range of procurement and commercial skills within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Core duties
- Category Strategy & Planning: Support the category teams in the development and implementation of category strategies aligned to business needs.
- Sourcing & Procurement: Support the delivery of robust sourcing exercises in line with the category strategy and company processes to deliver optimum outcomes.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Implement the strategy for the management of suppliers within the Category.
- Sustainability & Risk Management: Embed responsible supply chain principles, sustainability, and responsible sourcing practices into procurement activities.
- Health & Safety: Ensuring high standards for safety, health and environment (SHE) are maintained, understood, implemented.

All applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard. Many roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting where applicants must typically have 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level required for the role, to allow for meaningful security vetting checks.
Qualification Requirements
As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Construction, Quantity Surveying, Data & Analytics or Technology.
Start date: 6th September 2027
Length of contract: Permanent contract
