Graduate Programme & Internships – Rolling Intake

About Circeus
Circeus is an AI-native holding company that acquires and evolves mission-critical software for the AI era.
Through a centralised AI platform deployed across our portfolio, we expand software from systems of record into systems of action. We have raised $220m+ from leading global institutional investors and serve 250,000+ businesses worldwide, focusing on high-retention, deeply embedded software that powers the everyday economy.
We operate as long-term owners, bringing the benefits of innovation and AI to the real economy.
The Role
We hire graduates and interns on a rolling basis across our London, Milan and Sarajevo offices. Rather than running a single fixed intake, we open seats as workstreams demand them, which keeps the calibre bar high and the work real from week one.
We are recruiting across six tracks:
- Software Engineering
- AI Engineering
- M&A (Origination and Execution)
- Finance (Accounting and FP&A)
- Marketing
- Sales and Growth
- Value Creation and Portfolio Management
You apply once and we match you to the track where your skills compound fastest. This is not a shadowing programme. We run software companies, we do not just hold them, so graduates and interns sit inside live teams, own a defined piece of work, and present it to the people who make the decisions.
Recent work has spanned diligence on live acquisitions, shipping features used by paying customers, building AI workflows that replace manual process, and rebuilding pricing and reporting inside portfolio companies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
It suits people who treat learning and shipping as a daily practice rather than an annual event, who would rather own something small than observe something large, and who want to see how the software behind essential business workflows is actually bought, built and grown.
What You'll Do
- Own a defined workstream inside a portfolio company or a central team, with a clear output and a deadline
- Build, ship and measure, whether that is code, a model, a financial analysis or a go-to-market experiment
- Help turn products from systems of record into systems of action, using our central AI platform
- Work directly with senior operators, investors and engineers rather than through layers of process
- Use AI as a default part of how you work, and improve the process you inherited
- Turn messy inputs into structured analysis that others can act on
- Present findings and recommendations to decision-makers, including at leadership level
- Collaborate across offices and functions, since most problems here sit between teams
- Leave behind documentation or tooling that outlasts your project
What We're Looking For
- Recent graduate, final-year student or early-career professional in a relevant discipline
- Strong analytical or technical foundation, evidenced by academic record, projects or prior work
- Clear written and spoken English, plus the confidence to make an argument concisely
- Demonstrated ownership of something real: a product, a company, a society, a repository, a deal
- Evidence that you learn fast and teach yourself, since we assume every skill can be acquired
- Bias to action and comfort operating with incomplete information
- Right to work in the UK, Italy or Bosnia and Herzegovina, depending on the office you apply to

Nice to Have
- Fluency or curiosity in applying AI to your own workflow, with examples of having done so
- Internship or placement experience in software, investing, consulting or a high-growth company
- Additional languages, particularly Italian or Bosnian, Croatian or Serbian
- Track record in a competitive environment, technical or otherwise
- Side projects, open-source contributions or independent research
Why Circeus
- Exposure to a portfolio of software businesses rather than a single product
- AI applied to real commercial problems, with impact you can measure
- Ownership and pace from your first week, with senior access as standard
- Direct collaboration with our central AI team
- One team across London, Milan and Sarajevo, operating as a single system rather than separate offices
- Competitive compensation and a clear route to a permanent role for strong performers
