Graduate Projects Engineer
Are you a recent Engineering graduate looking to build a career in project engineering?
Our client is looking for a Graduate Projects Engineer to join their team and gain hands-on experience across HVAC, Process Cooling and engineering projects. This is a structured development role, giving you the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers while building your technical, commercial and project management skills.
You’ll be involved in projects from the early stages through to installation and commissioning, gaining exposure to customers, suppliers, subcontractors, sales teams and site engineers along the way.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the planning and delivery of HVAC and Process Cooling projects
- Assisting with quotations, costings, procurement and project documentation
- Joining site visits to understand project requirements and gather technical information
- Coordinating equipment, materials and subcontractors to support project deadlines
- Working with customers, suppliers, Sales Engineers and internal teams
- Supporting project handovers, planning and progress updates
- Helping identify technical issues, project risks and required resources
- Assisting with project budgets, cost tracking and financial reporting
- Supporting installation and commissioning activities on customer sites
- Developing your understanding of engineering design, project delivery and commercial processes

What They’re Looking For:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
- A genuine interest in HVAC, Process Cooling or Project Engineering
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Confident using Microsoft Office; CAD experience would be beneficial
- Full UK driving licence

Note: Due to the nature of the role, candidates must reside in the UK living within a commutable distance of Southampton. Our client is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
