The Role

We are looking for a talented Graduate Project Manager to join our dynamic and expanding Project Management team to join our London office and the multi-disciplinary team leading work on behalf of government organisations. You will play an active role in delivering successful projects from inception through to completion. This hands-on, client-facing position offers the opportunity to support project managers in coordinating stakeholders, managing project activities, and ensuring key objectives are achieved.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinating, managing, and communicating with the client, project stakeholders, and other consultants appointed to meet requirements of the project.
  • Preparation of programmes and undertaking programme management.
  • Preparing and issuing reports, including but not limited to preparation of Project Execution Plans (PEP), Strategy Reports, Risk Registers, Progress Reports, etc.
  • Attending site visits and project meetings.
  • Supporting the wider project management team by coordinating, managing, and communicating with the client to meet the requirements of the project.
  • Helping to oversee and manage the control of the project both pre- and post-contract, including financial expenditure throughout all RIBA stages.
  • Ensuring that you understand and comply with all Health & Safety requirements, practices, and procedures.

Who We're Looking For

Our ideal Graduate Project Manager will have:

  • An HNC, HND, or degree in a construction-related discipline, ideally supported by relevant industry experience.
  • A professional and personable approach, with the confidence to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A genuine passion for the construction industry and a desire to build a successful career in project management.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and ongoing professional development.
  • Membership of, or an interest in working towards membership of, a relevant professional body such as RICS or CIOB (desirable).
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
