Graduate Project Manager - Construction

About The Role

A highly regarded specialist construction company is looking for an ambitious and driven Graduate Project Manager to join their team.

Working across some of the Cotswolds' most prestigious residential projects, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the delivery of high-quality new builds, refurbishments, restorations, listed buildings and bespoke construction projects.

The company has an established reputation for combining traditional craftsmanship with modern construction techniques, alongside an in-house joinery workshop delivering bespoke kitchens, cabinetry, doors, windows, panelling and staircases.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to develop a long-term career in project management within the high-end construction sector.

The Role

Working closely with experienced Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, designers and clients, you will support the successful delivery of projects from initial planning through to completion.

  • Support the planning and coordination of construction projects
  • Assist with project programmes, schedules and progress tracking
  • Work closely with site, design and joinery teams
  • Support communication with clients, architects and designers
  • Maintain project documentation and records
  • Assist with procurement and subcontractor coordination
  • Monitor project progress, quality and deadlines
  • Attend site meetings and help resolve day-to-day project issues
  • Support health, safety and quality requirements
  • Develop your understanding of budgets, costs and commercial project management
  • Gain exposure to projects from concept through to completion

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and eager to build a career in construction project management.

You'll Ideally Have

  • A degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Project Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline
  • An interest in high-end residential construction, refurbishment or bespoke building
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence communicating with different teams and stakeholders
  • Good IT and Microsoft Office skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • The ambition to take on increasing responsibility as your experience develops

Previous construction experience or a placement year would be advantageous but is not essential.
