About Us
As a surveying practice we offer Project Management and Quantity Surveying services, and we have in-house energy modelling capabilities. We specialise in retrofit and energy efficiency, EPC improvement advice, and Net Zero auditing (inc. Whole Life Carbon Assessment). We help clients reduce the carbon impact of buildings through expert guidance on materials, systems, and retrofit strategies.
We are a multidisciplinary team of chartered project managers, surveyors, energy assessors and sustainability specialists, and we are a Certified B Corporation and RICS regulated firm. We are selective about who we hire, and we invest in the long-term development of the people who join us.
The Role
We are seeking a capable and driven Graduate Surveyor to join our Project Management team. This is a structured graduate role: you will work towards RICS chartership (APC) under the guidance of senior chartered surveyors, gaining varied, hands-on experience across project management, Employer’s Agent duties, and contract administration from day one.
You will support the delivery of a range of new-build and refurbishment construction projects from early briefing through to completion, working alongside senior colleagues across design coordination, procurement, construction oversight and contract administration. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach are essential - prior industry experience is not, though it is welcomed.

Minimum Requirements
- RICS-accredited Bachelor’s degree
- Three A-Levels, or equivalent
- No formal post-graduate experience required; any placement year, internship or part-time experience in construction, surveying or project management is an advantage
- London-based and willingness to work in the office 4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Support the development of project execution plans and client briefs under senior guidance
- Help organise and minute project meetings, and assist with communication across stakeholders
- Assist in monitoring the performance of the professional team and contractors
- Contribute to project reporting on progress, cost, risk and quality
Design & Pre-Construction
- Support the selection and appointment of consultants and specialists
- Assist in coordinating surveys, feasibility studies and viability appraisals
- Learn to advise on procurement strategy, programme, planning conditions and enabling works
Programme & Delivery Oversight
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project programmes covering design, procurement and construction
- Help monitor actual versus planned progress and flag issues for review
- Support risk and change control procedures
Employer’s Agent Duties
- Support senior colleagues acting as Employer’s Agent under Design & Build contracts
- Assist with administering contract terms, including instructions, certificates and valuations
- Gain exposure to value engineering exercises and contractor claims (EOT, loss and expense)

Contractual & Financial
- Assist with liaison with client solicitors on title matters, funding agreements, warranties and statutory consents
- Support the team in providing advice on procurement, risk, legal obligations and cost management
- Contribute to development appraisals and help assess implications of programme or scope changes
Construction Phase
- Support site inspections and reporting during construction
- Help ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including CDM Regulations
- Assist with snagging, handover and defects resolution processes
- Support the process of closing out final accounts
