Orange Estate Solutions Ltd, part of the Orange OYS group

Location: London, United Kingdom

Position Type: Full-time

Start: Starts with a 2-month trial internship, leading to a permanent position for strong performers

Compensation: To be discussed based on experience

About the Role

Orange Estate Solutions is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded graduate to join our growing property business in London.

We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career in property and gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of property investment and development.

This is not a narrowly defined graduate role. You will work directly with the company’s management team across live London projects and gain exposure to property acquisition, investment analysis, planning, construction and refurbishment, property finance, refinancing and asset management.

The position will begin with an initial two-month internship / trial period, during which we will provide training and assess the candidate’s ability, initiative and fit within the team. Our intention is to develop the right candidate into a permanent full-time member of the team with increasing responsibility and career progression.

What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will develop as you gain experience and may include:

  • Researching and identifying potential property acquisitions
  • Assisting with initial property assessments, feasibility studies and development appraisals
  • Reviewing property particulars, planning history, valuations, development costs and financial information
  • Assisting with property viewings and initial site assessments
  • Supporting planning applications and coordinating with planning consultants
  • Supporting live refurbishment and development projects from initial concept through to completion
  • Monitoring project budgets, programmes and outstanding actions
  • Communicating with architects, engineers, surveyors, planning consultants, contractors and other professionals
  • Assisting with tendering, contractor selection and comparison of quotations
  • Attending property and construction site visits across London
  • Assisting with property finance and refinancing applications
  • Preparing information and documentation for lenders, valuers, solicitors and other professional advisers
  • Maintaining project trackers, financial information and documentation
  • Following up with consultants, contractors and other parties to ensure agreed actions are completed
  • Supporting the management and improvement of our existing property portfolio

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role is deliberately broad. We want the successful candidate to understand how property projects work commercially and practically from acquisition through development and financing to operation.

Who We Are Looking For

We are primarily looking for a recent graduate or someone at the beginning of their professional career.

The right candidate will be:

  • Intelligent, analytical and comfortable working with numbers
  • Commercially minded with a genuine interest in property and investment
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and willing to take responsibility
  • Able to learn quickly and solve problems independently
  • Comfortable managing several tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Confident communicating professionally with external consultants and businesses
  • Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word and general office software
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Eligible to work in the UK

A degree in property, real estate, civil engineering, construction, finance, economics, business or a related discipline would be advantageous, although we are open to exceptional candidates from other academic backgrounds.

Previous professional property experience is not essential. We are more interested in your ability, attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.

Russian language skills would be advantageous but are not essential, as they may assist with communication within our wider team.

Applicants holding a UK Graduate visa or another existing right to work in the UK are welcome to apply.

What We Offer

This is an opportunity to gain unusually broad exposure to the property industry while working on real projects rather than hypothetical graduate exercises.

You will gain practical experience across:

  • Property investment and acquisitions
  • Development appraisal and feasibility
  • Planning
  • Construction and refurbishment
  • Property finance and refinancing
  • Valuation
  • Asset and property management

You will work closely with the company’s management team and interact directly with the professional teams responsible for delivering our projects.

For the right candidate, the initial period is intended to develop into a permanent full-time position with increasing responsibility, professional development and salary progression.

How to Apply

Please submit your CV together with a short covering message explaining:

  • Why you are interested in property investment and development
  • Why you believe you would be a good fit for the role
  • Your current UK right-to-work status
  • Your availability to start
  • Any additional languages you speak

Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a brief property-related analytical exercise as part of the selection process.
