Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate QA/Test Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career in software quality assurance and testing, working alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects. You will gain hands-on experience across the full software testing lifecycle while developing your technical and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and executing test cases and test scripts based on requirements and user stories
- Perform manual and, where applicable, automated testing across web and/or mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
- Support regression, functional, and integration testing activities
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation
- Learn and apply testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies under guidance from senior team members

Essential Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a QA/testing career path.

Desirable Skills
- Exposure to test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Understanding of API testing (e.g. Postman)
- Any relevant testing certification (e.g. ISTQB Foundation Level) is a plus, though not essential
