Location: London

Compensation: First Year Comp Up To £100,000 P/A

Overview

We’re working with a highly technology-driven financial firm seeking an ambitious early-career professional to join a quantitative technology team. You’ll work closely with experienced quantitative and trading professionals, combining programming, data analysis and problem-solving to support sophisticated financial strategies. The role offers exposure to both live environments and longer-term technical projects, making it well suited to graduates and early-career candidates with a strong technical or quantitative background.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain software and configuration supporting automated financial strategies
  • Work with large datasets across research and production environments
  • Monitor systems and analyse activity to identify issues and support performance
  • Contribute to longer-term projects focused on improving and expanding trading technology

What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or another strong STEM discipline
  • Programming experience in at least one major language such as Python, C++ or Java
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
