Graduate Quant Researcher Programme London 2027

Programme details:
- Location: London

You’ll begin with a structured 7-week training programme, designed to prepare you for a career in quantitative research. This initial phase focuses on building the technical foundations and professional skills needed for the role, as well as forming crucial working relationships with the rest of your cohort.
What you will be doing:
- Design, evaluate and continuously improve our automated trading algorithms
- Build quantitative pricing models, for example American Option Pricing and Volatility Modeling
- Research and analyse trading data to find and test trading opportunities
How and what you will learn:
- Progress through a structured onboarding programme with clear learning milestones
- Build your foundation through theory and exercise-led training, led by Maven’s Head of Technology Training & Graduates
- Learn about financial markets, our platforms and specific quant research field for OMM, apply your academic research abilities and learn how to perform research on real-world data of varied volume and sampling frequency across a variety of domains
- Attend regular check-ins with the Quant Researcher and Emerging Talent teams
Who you are:
Key criteria:
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD student in applied mathematics, statistics, engineering or physics
- Relevant programming experience in at least one language (Python, C++, C#)
- Proactive interest in improving existing trading strategies and identifying new opportunities
- Motivated for quantitative research, financial services and trading, with knowledge of financial markets
- A willingness to adopt and utilise emerging AI technologies
