About The Role
Join TSA Riley's largest ever Early Careers intake and start your journey towards becoming a Chartered Quantity Surveyor.
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor in our Croydon office, you'll gain hands-on experience across a variety of exciting projects in the London and South region. These will include retail, leisure, and industrial developments where you will work to support our reputable client base.
From day one, you'll work alongside experienced professionals who will mentor and support your growth as you build your technical knowledge and confidence in the consulting quantity surveying role. We'll challenge you to take on increasing responsibility as your skills develop, ensuring you gain the practical experience needed to thrive.
Once you're ready, our industry-leading APC programme will be available to you. Providing guidance and support for you as you progress towards RICS chartership. You won't be alone either - we have a cohort of 50+ staff currently working towards chartership within the business. Therefore, you'll benefit from a strong network of peers and mentors to help you succeed.
We welcome applications from students graduating (or recently graduated) from RICS-accredited Degree or Masters programmes, ready to start in September.

About Your Responsibilities
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor with TSA Riley you will learn and develop your skills by carrying out the full spectrum of pre and post contract duties within a consultancy quantity surveying role.
Firstly, in a supporting role, but quickly being given the autonomy to fulfil these core duties independently as you develop your skills and experience.
Some of your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Stakeholder management
- Value engineering
- Tender management
- Procurement
- Contract Administration
- Preparing financial and progress reports
- Cost Planning
- Cost Management
- Administering cost/variation procedures
About You:
We're Looking For Candidates Who Are
- Graduates of an RICS accredited Degree or Masters courses and seeking permanent employment from the September 2026.
- Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Confident and willing to embrace responsibility.
- Excellent communicators.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
- Can follow process driven systems and procedures and work well under pressure.
- Have a passion to pursue a career in Quantity Surveying.
- Organised, punctual and generally well prepared to work in a full-time office environment.
