Graduate Quantity Surveyor - 2027 - Norwich

Over two years, you’ll gain hands-on experience, structured learning, and the support of mentors who care about your growth. You’ll develop the technical and interpersonal skills to help you succeed and make a lasting impact.

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will become part of our Building team, delivering award-winning public-sector projects including Bath Spa University, the Royal London Hospital, and Bristol schools. In the private sector, we focus on commercial and mixed-use buildings. Our London expertise has contributed to a portfolio featuring some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, such as The Gherkin and Heron Tower. Together, we are building a better society by shaping the future with innovation and purpose.

What you'll do:

  • Help minimise the costs of a project to ensure profitability and risk mitigation
  • Build relationships and negotiate with trade contractors and client representatives
  • Support the preparation and completion of site measurement and records, day work sheets, labour and plant returns
  • Procure trade contract packages, including completing detailed tender analysis and preparation of tender and contract documents
  • Assist with the procurement of sub-contract packages
  • Work within the projects commercial team and have responsibility in measuring and quantifying works for cost plan validation, completing interim and final account valuations
  • Prepare contractual documents including preparing scopes and sub-contract warranties
  • Other commercial tasks depending on project needs

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Studying towards (in your final year) or having completed a Quantity Surveying degree accredited by the RICS. We will consider applications from other commercially focused or construction qualification backgrounds.
  • Have excellent communications skills and attention to detail
  • Values driven and passionate about sustainability

  • Enthusiastic about learning and developing new ways of thinking
