High-End Fit Out & Interiors | Northampton
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + package, depending on experience
Are you a recent Quantity Surveying graduate looking to kick-start your career within a fast-paced, high-quality construction environment?
We are working with an established specialist fit-out and interiors contractor delivering high-specification projects across the UK and Europe. The business works across commercial interiors, retail, hospitality, office fit-out, bespoke interiors and joinery, providing an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to gain broad commercial experience from day one.

The Role
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the commercial and project teams, gaining hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Supporting the Quantity Surveying team with the commercial management of projects
- Assisting with the preparation of tenders, estimates and cost plans
- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Assisting with procurement and subcontractor negotiations
- Preparing and monitoring valuations and payment applications
- Assisting with variations, change control and cost reporting
- Supporting the preparation of monthly commercial reports
- Assisting with forecasting and final accounts
- Monitoring project costs against budgets
- Developing relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and project teams
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and project documentation
- Supporting Senior Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers across multiple projects

About You
We are looking for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded and keen to build a long-term career in Quantity Surveying.
You Will Ideally Have
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction discipline
- Some previous placement, internship or construction experience would be advantageous
- A genuine interest in the commercial side of construction
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
