Job Description

Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Location: West Sussex
Job Type: Full-time

Our client is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to support Senior Quantity Surveyors on civil engineering projects across the South, including highways, infrastructure, and bridge works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cost planning, budgeting, and contract preparation
  • Carry out site measurements and review drawings
  • Support cost analysis and project reporting
  • Assist in subcontractor procurement and quotation analysis
  • Help manage variations and final accounts
  • Prepare payment certificates
  • Identify and manage commercial risks

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience (placement or post-graduate)
  • Civil engineering or construction experience preferred
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Good communication and negotiation abilities
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
