About the Role
This is a new role based on the Graduate Outcomes Career Team. The post holder will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including:
- Graduate Outcomes Manager and their team
- Director of Student Experience
- Academic staff
- Work Placement Coordinators
- Employers
The primary focus is to coach, support, and prepare Regent College London (RCL) students to secure graduate-level professional occupations or progress to further study. This entails:
- Establishing, implementing, and coordinating contemporary career support and progression processes
- Identifying opportunities, building relationships, and fostering skills for career readiness
- Delivering career coaching and support to enable students to secure interviews and employment
- Recording and analysing student progression outcomes
This will be a fast-paced, dynamic role requiring flexibility, independence, teamwork, and the ability to prioritise tasks while maintaining high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Development & Delivery
- Work in partnership with the Head of Employability and Graduate Outcomes to design a programme of career and progression support tailored for graduating students.
- Develop and maintain flexible communication channels with all relevant student cohorts across campuses (Holborn, Great Titchfield Street, Wembley, Kingsbury, Harrow, Southall).
- Create and implement toolkits, resources, and coaching mechanisms (both in-person and digital) to prepare students for career success through:
- Group sessions
- One-to-one mentoring
- Online self-paced learning

2. Advice & Support Services
- Serve as a "one-stop shop" for student career queries, ensuring accurate advice on:
- Recruitment strategies
- Further study progression
- Job applications
- Maintain accurate records of student appointments, interviews, and outcomes for internal and external reporting.
3. Employer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Demonstrate, share, and disseminate up-to-date knowledge on:
- Current and future job markets
- Application formats and CV requirements
- Networking and interview techniques
- Employer expectations
- Liaise with internal/external stakeholders, including:
- Academic Registry
- Work Placement Teams
- Alumni networks
- Recruitment agencies
- Employers and their recruitment services
- Actively source relevant job opportunities, tailor them to student needs, and facilitate employer engagement.
4. Content & Promotion
- Contribute to blogs, marketing write-ups, and promotional materials.
- Utilise social media and digital platforms to advertise events and resources.

5. Performance & Compliance
- Monitor and report on Office for Students KPIs, collaborating with Academic Registry and Data teams.
- Participate in reviews of progression systems to optimise cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritise workload, and delegate as required.
6. Administrative & Representational Duties
- Undertake administrative tasks as needed.
- Represent the team/department in meetings and working groups, as nominated.

- Maintain confidentiality—no unauthorised disclosure of sensitive information.
- Complete required training and development programmes.
- Participate in regular College Performance Reviews.
- Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions.

Successful candidates will undergo:

- Education qualifications confirmation
