Recruitment Consultant | London | £27k OTE £50k (Year One) | Hybrid Working
You didn't work this hard to settle for an average career.
If you're ambitious, competitive and motivated by money, progression and winning, this could be the start of something seriously exciting.
I’m recruiting for an international, high-performance recruitment company operating at the sharp end of the global financial markets.
They work with some of the world’s leading financial institutions, specialising in areas including quantitative trading, hedge funds, commodities, FX, equities, fixed income, credit and derivatives.
And they’re looking for their next generation of high-performance recruiters.
🏆 Think elite sport meets high finance.
This isn't a traditional graduate scheme where you spend three years waiting for someone to decide you're ready for a promotion.
It's a competitive, commercially driven environment where your performance directly influences your earnings, responsibility and progression.
You'll be trained to become a specialist headhunter and salesperson, building relationships with senior professionals across the financial markets and working with some seriously impressive clients.
You'll learn how to: → Identify and headhunt exceptional talent → Build relationships with traders, portfolio managers, quants and senior professionals → Win and develop relationships with leading financial institutions → Understand highly specialist financial markets → Influence, negotiate and close high-value deals → Build your own network and eventually own your market

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
💰 This isn't small-ticket sales.
The average fee is $48K, with the biggest fee to date reaching $187K.
Big targets. Big deals. Big earning potential.
You're not selling £20 subscriptions.
You're building relationships around high-value, specialist mandates where a single successful deal can generate tens — or even hundreds — of thousands in fees.
💷 And the earning potential? £27K base salary + £50K Year 1 OTE Then, once you've completed your first two deals, your base salary increases to £35K. Plus uncapped commission.
There's no artificial ceiling on what you can earn.
And to show you what can be possible for an exceptional performer: One consultant is currently on track to earn £420K in their second year.
That's an exceptional individual example — not a typical outcome or guaranteed salary — but it gives you a sense of the upside available if you become genuinely elite at what you do.
