We’re looking for a Talent Scout to join our team at Humand Talent, based in our Eynsham office. This is a people-first, candidate-focused recruitment role that blends influence, communication and insight. It’s sales in the best sense of the word - you’re introducing great people to life-changing opportunities and helping them take their next step.
You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team working with some of the most exciting and forward-thinking companies in the world, from Oxford University spin-outs and local SMEs to global FTSE100 innovators.

- Using sourcing tools, job boards, social media and networks to identify great candidates
- Writing inclusive, engaging job adverts

Pitching Opportunities
- Presenting roles with clarity and enthusiasm
- Helping candidates understand the impact of the work our clients do
- Preparing them for interviews and guiding them through feedback and offers
Proactive Talent Work
- Reaching out to brilliant people even before a job opens
- Supporting Account Managers by identifying talent pipelines
- Keeping delivery on track by flagging any blockers early
Collaboration and Learning
- Joining daily morning meetings to plan your focus
- Working closely with the team to share insights and get support
- Continually building your knowledge of tools, markets and hiring trends

You’ll consistently connect the right people with the right opportunities. You’ll build a strong reputation among candidates for being thoughtful, professional and honest. You’ll help shape delivery outcomes with your insight and effort. You’ll be proactive, organised and passionate about doing recruitment the right way.
And yes, you’ll make placements and earn commission along the way.
About You
This role is ideal if you’re:
- A people person who loves building relationships
- Confident on the phone
- Comfortable pitching ideas and influencing decisions
- Curious about the world of tech, science and innovation
- Organised, focused and ready to take ownership of your work
- Someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a tight-knit, collaborative team
Experience with AI tools, recruitment software or sourcing platforms is a bonus - but if you’re confident, coachable and curious, we’ll teach you. Some exposure to sales, recruitment delivery, talent acquisition or customer-facing roles would be helpful. We know we could do more video - so if you like doing that, it’s also a great value add.
