Graduate Recruitment Consultant – CleanTech, Sustainability & Energy
London | Hybrid Working
Starting Salary £30,000 + Commission (Overall Year 1 earnings £50k–£60k)

Our client is a specialist recruitment, search and advisory business operating across the global CleanTech, Sustainability & Energy markets. Since launching in 2019, they’ve grown rapidly across London, Austin and New York, partnering with some of the world’s most innovative and well-funded businesses to place senior and C-suite talent.
They are now looking for ambitious graduates to join their London office as Graduate Trainee Consultants.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a true 360 recruitment role where you’ll learn every aspect of the business while building your own market within the sustainability and ESG space. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building long-term relationships with clients and candidates
- Business development through cold calling, networking, meetings and events
- Researching and mapping specialist CleanTech & Sustainability markets
- Headhunting and sourcing high-level talent
- Managing client accounts and recruitment processes
- Writing engaging job adverts
- Organising industry events and networking meet-ups
- Delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates

What They’re Looking For
- Track record of achieving – ideally A*-B A-Levels, 2:1 degree from University, extracurricular activities or working alongside studies
- Recent graduate (2024 – 2026) or someone early in their career
- Strong communication skills and commercial mindset
- Ambitious, competitive and financially motivated
- Confident building relationships with people
- Resilient, proactive and eager to learn

- Fast-track career progression – 90% of consultants progress to Principal or Management level within 3 years
- £30k starting salary + uncapped commission (35% average commission structure) Year 1 OTE £50k–£60k
- Consultants billing £300k–£500k annually within 2 years
