Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The aim isn't to keep you in training for months. You'll learn the fundamentals, put them into practice and gradually take more ownership of your own market.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

We recruit exclusively across the US Architecture, Engineering and Construction markets from our London office.

As you develop, you'll be:

  • Building relationships with clients across the US
  • Finding and headhunting professionals for their teams
  • Speaking with candidates and understanding what they want from their next move
  • Learning how to win new business and develop client accounts
  • Managing interviews and recruitment processes
  • Negotiating offers and closing deals
  • Building your own network within your market
  • Working towards your own targets and commission

Ultimately, you'll be building your own desk and taking more ownership of it as you progress.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need a particular degree or previous recruitment experience.

We're much more interested in the type of person you are.

You might be a good fit if you're:

  • Competitive and like having something to work towards
  • Ambitious and motivated by progression
  • Financially driven
  • Confident speaking to new people
  • Resilient and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
  • Social and enjoy working around other ambitious people
  • Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do

Progression & Earnings

Recruitment gives you a lot of control over how quickly you progress.

At TYG, progression is based on performance rather than how long you've been with the business, with a clear route from entry level through to Consultant, Senior and Principal.

Your earning potential grows alongside that progression, with uncapped commission on top of your base salary.

We've already seen people join TYG with no previous recruitment experience and progress quickly through the business.

Life at TYG

We're a young, ambitious and social team based in a WeWork near Liverpool Street.

You'll also get:

  • Hybrid working with Wednesdays from home
  • Early finish Fridays
  • 22 days annual leave plus our Christmas shutdown
  • Monthly socials
  • Quarterly lunch club incentives
  • Biannual international incentive trips
  • WeWork benefits including free coffee, beer and regular events
  • A team where you'll be surrounded by people at different stages of the same career
