About Morgan Prestwich

Morgan Prestwich is an international Life Sciences recruitment and executive search business, partnering with some of the most innovative companies across the global healthcare industry.

Since 2010, we have supported organisations across the US, Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific, helping emerging biotechnology businesses, established pharmaceutical companies, MedTech organisations, CDMOs and other specialist Life Sciences companies identify and attract exceptional talent.

Our work is genuinely international. We partner with organisations developing new medicines, technologies and healthcare solutions, often supporting them at critical stages of growth – from clinical development and fundraising through to international expansion and commercial launch.

We are now looking for an ambitious graduate to join our team and build a career within international Life Sciences recruitment.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to enter the recruitment industry in a highly specialised, global and commercially exciting market.

As a Graduate Recruitment Consultant, you will be trained to become a specialist within the Life Sciences sector, working predominantly across the United States and Europe, with exposure to Asia-Pacific and other international markets.

You will work alongside experienced consultants and senior members of the business, learning how to identify high-growth companies, understand complex talent markets, build relationships with senior industry professionals and ultimately manage recruitment assignments from initial client engagement through to successful placement.

This is not a purely desk-based or UK-focused recruitment role. Morgan Prestwich operates internationally, and as your career develops you will have opportunities to travel to major Life Sciences conferences and industry events across the US, Europe and APAC, meeting clients and candidates face-to-face and building your own international network.

What You Will Be Doing

Your responsibilities will develop as you progress, but will include:

  • Researching biotechnology, pharmaceutical, MedTech, CDMO and other Life Sciences companies across international markets.
  • Identifying and approaching high-calibre candidates for specialist, senior and executive-level positions.
  • Building relationships with professionals across Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Manufacturing, Business Development and other specialist functions.
  • Developing an understanding of emerging biotechnology companies, clinical-stage assets, new technologies, funding rounds, product launches and industry trends.
  • Conducting candidate interviews and assessing experience, motivations and suitability for specific opportunities.
  • Supporting consultants on retained search, exclusive recruitment and international team-build projects.
  • Developing relationships with existing Morgan Prestwich clients and, over time, building your own client network.
  • Using LinkedIn, industry databases, market intelligence and direct headhunting techniques to identify exceptional talent.
  • Producing candidate reports, market maps and client presentations.
  • Managing candidates throughout interview and offer processes.
  • Attending client meetings, networking events and industry conferences.
  • Developing your own specialist area of the Life Sciences market as your experience grows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

International Exposure

A major part of our business is building relationships directly within the international Life Sciences community.

As you develop within Morgan Prestwich, you will have the opportunity to attend relevant conferences and networking events across markets including the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

These events provide the opportunity to meet biotechnology executives, investors, industry leaders and existing and prospective clients, giving you exposure to the sector that goes considerably beyond traditional recruitment.

International travel will therefore form part of the role for individuals who demonstrate the performance, maturity and commercial capability to represent Morgan Prestwich globally.

What We Are Looking For

We are interested in graduates who are ambitious, intelligent, commercially minded and confident communicating with people.

You do not need previous recruitment or Life Sciences experience – we will teach you the industry and how to recruit within it.

We are particularly interested in people who demonstrate:

  • A university degree or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence speaking with senior professionals.
  • Intellectual curiosity and an interest in business.
  • A competitive and ambitious personality.
  • Resilience and determination.
  • Strong research and analytical ability.
  • The confidence to pick up the phone and start conversations.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • A genuine desire to build a successful career rather than simply find a graduate job.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as the role develops.
  • Additional languages are advantageous given the international nature of our business, but are not essential.

Training & Development

You will receive structured training and ongoing mentoring from experienced Life Sciences recruitment professionals.

Rather than simply teaching recruitment processes, we want you to understand the industry in which you operate.

Your development will therefore include:

Life Sciences Industry Training

Understanding biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, MedTech, CDMOs, clinical development, drug commercialisation and the different functions within a Life Sciences organisation.

Career Progression

Morgan Prestwich offers a meritocratic environment where progression is based on performance and capability rather than simply length of service.

A successful graduate can progress through:

  • Graduate Recruitment Consultant → Recruitment Consultant → Senior Consultant → Principal Consultant → Associate Director → Director

For individuals who demonstrate strong commercial ability, there is significant opportunity to develop their own international market, build client relationships and take increasing responsibility within the business.

Why Join Morgan Prestwich?

We continue to be recognised as one of the top search firms in the Life Sciences industry globally.

You will be joining a specialist business operating in one of the world's most innovative industries.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Travel internationally to conferences and client meetings.
  • Develop genuine commercial and business-development skills.
  • Build your own professional network across the global Life Sciences industry.
  • Earn significant commission and financial rewards based on your performance.
  • Progress rapidly within a growing specialist recruitment business.

The Person

Ultimately, we are looking for someone who wants more than a conventional graduate position.

You may not currently know anything about recruitment or the Life Sciences industry. What matters more is that you are ambitious, curious, commercially driven and prepared to work very very hard to become successful. We need self-starters, someone who can quickly build rapport. This is not your usual 9-5 job. However, the earning potential is vast.

If you enjoy speaking with people, researching businesses, understanding what makes companies grow and building relationships internationally, Morgan Prestwich can provide an excellent platform from which to build your career.
