Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Why This Opportunity Is Different

This isn't a call-centre style recruitment role where success is measured by how many calls you make.

Executive search is built around quality over quantity. You'll learn how to identify exceptional talent, advise clients on strategic hiring decisions and build long-term relationships with senior professionals across specialist markets.

You'll gain exposure to international markets, develop valuable commercial skills and become a trusted expert within your own niche.

Placement fees regularly range from £40,000 to £250,000+, creating exceptional earning potential as your career develops. One consultant earned £250,000 in commission alone last year, demonstrating what's achievable within this business.

The Role

As a Graduate Recruitment Consultant, you'll learn every stage of the executive search process while developing commercial skills that will benefit you throughout your career.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Speaking with professionals and senior business leaders every day
  • Building long-term relationships with candidates and clients
  • Headhunting and engaging specialist talent
  • Conducting candidate interviews and market research
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Learning how organisations hire and grow
  • Managing recruitment assignments from brief to placement
  • Developing your own specialist market and professional network

As your experience grows, you'll take increasing responsibility, manage your own client relationships and establish yourself as a specialist consultant.
