Graduate Renewable Energy Engineer

Location: London (hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience
Type: Full-time, permanent

About us

We develop, build and own renewable energy assets across the UK, with a growing portfolio spanning onshore wind, solar and battery energy storage (BESS). As an owner-operator, we manage projects through their entire lifecycle: from early-stage development and consenting through construction and into long-term operation. Our London team is expanding, and we are looking for a graduate engineer to grow with us.

The role

You will join our engineering team supporting projects at every stage of the pipeline. This is a genuine development role: you will work across technologies, learn from experienced engineers, and take on real responsibility early. Day to day, you will:

  • Support the design and technical review of wind, solar and BESS projects, from feasibility through to construction
  • Carry out energy yield assessments, site analyses and technical due diligence
  • Work with grid connection applications and liaise with network operators
  • Review technical documentation from contractors, consultants and equipment suppliers
  • Support construction and commissioning activities, with site visits across the UK
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of our operational assets, identifying improvements
  • Contribute to internal tools, processes and standards as our portfolio grows

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
