About The Role Graduate Research Assistant

This Horizon Europe – InBestSoil project funded full-time post is available immediately till the 31st of December 2026.

The starting salary will be from £33,951 on Grade E, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.

This role can be remote, based anywhere in the UK.

The Role

ESE Faculty

The Faculty wishes to recruit a Graduate Research Associate to support the work of prof. Stefano Pascucci. The successful applicant will support the PI to design and deliver relevant outreach activities on regenerative business models and circular transitions, particularly looking at regenerative agriculture and circular food systems.

The post will include curating contents relevant to engagement activities with food system actors, business experts, and policy makers.

About You

The successful applicant will be able to present information on research progress and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies.

Applicants will be educated to first degree level or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study or equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes. Applicants will be able to synthesise and report a large body of expert knowledge related to circular and regenerative economy, circular transitions, food systems. Applicants will be able to demonstrate a continued engagement with stakeholders concerned with food system transformations, circular transitions and regenerative business models.
