Job Description
Are you the type of person who enjoys understanding how things work, asking questions, analysing information and finding solutions? At SS&C, we're looking for curious, proactive graduates who enjoy solving complex problems and using data to make better decisions.
As a Graduate Risk and Resilience Analyst, you'll help identify risks, strengthen business resilience and support critical services that our clients rely on every day.
You'll gain exposure to business operations, technology, data analysis and risk management while developing highly sought-after skills in problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and decision-making.
We don't expect you to have experience in risk management. We're looking for people with analytical thinking, curiosity and a proactive mindset who are eager to learn, take ownership and make an impact from the start of their career.

What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Risk & Resilience team, you'll help the business identify, assess and manage risk while supporting operational resilience activities across multiple regions. You'll:
- Analyse risk data to identify trends, insights and areas for improvement
- Support business risk assessments and emerging risk activities
- Produce reports, presentations and dashboards for stakeholders
- Help map critical business services across people, technology, premises and suppliers
- Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning
- Support resilience testing and disruption scenarios
- Track risk actions and mitigation activities
- Collaborate with teams across the business to strengthen controls and improve resilience
Example projects could include:
- Investigating trends within risk data and presenting findings to stakeholders
- Supporting resilience exercises for critical business services
- Assessing the potential impact of technology, supplier or operational disruptions
- Creating management information and dashboards that support decision-making
- Contributing to responses to emerging risks and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For
Degree Requirement
A 2:1 degree or above in:
- Risk Management
- Business
- Finance
- Economics
- Data Analytics
- Mathematics
- Statistics Or a related discipline
Essential Skills
- Experience analysing data through university projects, coursework, employment, volunteering or extracurricular activities
- Confidence using Excel for data analysis, including formulas, sorting, filtering and data manipulation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to interpret information and communicate findings clearly
- A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others
Desirable
- Awareness of risk management, audit, compliance or business continuity
- Experience creating presentations, reports or dashboards
- Knowledge of financial services or regulated industries

Location & Working Pattern
This role is aligned to our Basildon office, where the Risk & Resilience team is based.
We operate a hybrid working model with a minimum of six office days per month. There will be times when you'll attend the office more frequently for onboarding, training, collaboration, meetings and development opportunities. Applicants should therefore be able to travel regularly to our Basildon office and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team environment.
