Job Description
We are looking for graduates with strong technical backgrounds, curiosity, and a passion for problem solving. You will contribute to client projects, support business development activities and play an active role in the continued growth of our consultancy.
As a growing business, this role offers the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility from an early stage, develop your professional skills and help shape the future of the company. Day to day, you will work with our experienced assurance consultants and clients providing specialist consultancy services and support business development activities.
Duties to include
- Authoring technical reports with the support of our senior staff
- Analysing safety assurance challenges and proposing solutions
- Reviewing engineering documentation in support of analysis
- Facilitating engineering meetings
- Involvement with business winning activities such as proposal writing
- Managing projects to ensure they are delivered to time, quality and cost
- Supporting the achievement of business objectives
- Exploring prospects for alliances and partnerships to exploit new opportunities

Salary range: £32,000 pa
Location: Bristol
Working Pattern: We operate a flexible hybrid working pattern at Occam Group, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home. For this opportunity, the successful candidates must be based in the Bristol area. We would consider full time / part time working pattern.
Requirements
Essential Requirements
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant technical discipline.
- We are keen to hear from graduates within the following disciplines:
- Software Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence
- Autonomous Robotics
- Aerospace Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Interest in safety engineering, assurance and risk management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders
