About the Job

Are you looking to join a dynamic, fast-paced, rapidly growing privately owned enterprise? We have a fantastic opportunity for you! We are recruiting a Sales Analyst to join our team based in Bradford (BD3).

We are looking for an individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude that is willing to learn and get involved in all aspects of the business. There has never been a more exciting time for us, and we’re looking for a like-minded, motivated individual to join our sales and marketing team on this exciting journey.

About the Company

Astonish is a local business with a global brand sold in over 60 countries worldwide. All of our products are manufactured in a state-of-the-art factory between Leeds and Bradford. The business has doubled its turnover in 3 years and continues to grow by putting the customer at the heart of our business. All our products are Cruelty Free, Vegan Approved and we are at the front of sustainability through recyclable packaging.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance Analysis

  • Analyse Astonish sales performance by customer, product, category, channel, and region.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Monitor sales against budgets and forecasts.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the business.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend actions to improve results.

Commercial Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards using Excel.
  • Prepare reports for senior leadership and sales meetings.

Forecasting & Planning

  • Analyse historical sales data to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Identify seasonal trends and demand fluctuations.
  • Work with Supply Chain to minimise stock shortages and excess inventory.

Customer & Market Analysis

  • Evaluate customer buying patterns and behaviours.
  • Analyse product mix and pricing performance.
  • Benchmark performance against competitors and market data.
  • Support new product launches with commercial analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for range optimisation and sales growth.

Business Improvement

  • Identify process improvements within commercial reporting.
  • Improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Automate recurring reports where possible.
  • Ensure consistency of commercial data across departments.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in analysis, ideally within a FMCG environment.
  • Experience of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently using own initiative and sense of ownership.
  • Strong literacy and copywriting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced organisation.
