Role: Graduate/Early Years Sales Development Representative
Sector: InsurTech/SaaS
Location: Central London (hybrid working)
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 + Uncapped Commission (10K OTE)
Our client is a fast-growing InsurTech business helping retailers improve the way they offer protection and additional services to their customers across both online and in-store journeys. The business has grown rapidly and is now expanding across the UK and internationally, working with a growing portfolio of established retail brands. Their technology makes it simple for businesses to integrate protection into the customer journey, creating a strong commercial proposition for both the retailer and their customers.
From a sales perspective, this is a particularly attractive product to take to market. Retailers can generate additional revenue while offering their customers greater protection and confidence at the point of purchase. You'll be selling a solution with a clear commercial benefit.
They're now looking to grow their commercial team with ambitious, competitive and highly driven BDRs who want to progress quickly into full-cycle sales.

WHO YOU ARE
- Ambitious, driven and hungry to build a successful career in sales
- Confident and comfortable picking up the phone and speaking to new prospects
- Resilient and able to handle rejection without losing motivation
- Competitive and target-driven, with a desire to consistently improve
- Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
- Curious and intelligent, with a genuine desire to learn
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
- Willing to take ownership and do what it takes to get the job done
- Previous experience in outbound sales, business development or another target-driven role
- Bonus if you have experience using CRM/sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Apollo or experience within insurance, FinTech or another regulated industry but not essential

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outbound calls and emails to retail and brand prospects to generate new business opportunities and booking qualified meetings
- Researching target accounts and tailoring outreach to individual prospects
- Creating personalised decks, proposals and sales materials
- Building a strong presence on LinkedIn and using social selling to generate opportunities
- Exploring new channels including events, communities, referrals and partnerships
- Working closely with founders and partnership leads on outbound strategy and target accounts
- Learning the insurance, retail and manufacturing sectors to become a credible commercial contact
- Supporting wider commercial projects as the business continues to scale
