Are you commercially minded, confident with people and looking for a role where you can build a genuine career in sales?
We’re looking for a bright, ambitious Graduate Sales Executive to join the team at Potts’ Partnership, an exciting and growing food business based in Swindon.
This is a varied role combining sales, customer development and sales administration, making it a great opportunity for someone who wants to understand how a commercial business really works.
You’ll be involved in everything from processing customer orders and keeping records accurate, to following up sales leads, speaking to customers and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
The administrative side of the role is important: you’ll help make sure orders, customer information, invoicing and sales activity are managed accurately and efficiently. At the same time, we want you to be commercially curious, confident picking up the phone and keen to build relationships.

What you’ll be doing:
Sales & customer development
- Build strong relationships with existing customers by phone and email
- Follow up enquiries, promotions and sales opportunities

- Maintain accurate CRM records and customer information
- Ensure orders, invoicing and customer updates are completed promptly
- Prepare and maintain sales documentation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
