Minky Homecare is a well-established and trusted UK homecare brand, supplying a wide range of household products to leading retailers. We work with major retail partners across the UK and are looking for an ambitious graduate to join our sales team in a key support role.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career who wants to build strong commercial experience, understand how major retail accounts are managed, and develop toward a future role as a National Account Manager.
The Role

The role will involve a broad range of sales administration and account support tasks, including processing orders, booking in customer orders, supporting stock forecasting, maintaining account information, and helping with the general upkeep of retail partner accounts.
Over time, you will gain exposure to customer meetings, account planning, sales reporting, forecasting, product launches, and commercial decision-making. The aim is for the successful candidate to develop the skills, confidence, and experience required to progress into a National Account Manager role in the future.

- Booking in orders and liaising with retail partners where required.
- Supporting the sales team with day-to-day administration across key retail accounts.

- Maintaining accurate customer account records, pricing information, product details, and order data.
- Liaising with internal teams including sales, customer service, logistics, planning, marketing, and finance.
- Supporting retail partner account upkeep, including product listings, order tracking, customer portals, and general account administration.
- Helping resolve customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Preparing reports, sales information, and account updates.
- Supporting the Head of Sales and wider sales team with customer presentations, meeting preparation, and ad hoc projects.
- Learning how major retail accounts are managed commercially, operationally, and strategically.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
