Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Where could it take you?

This role is designed for someone at the start of their career, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility as they develop. With experience, you could progress into a client-facing field sales role, with further opportunities to move into management.

You'll also have the opportunity to complete a fully funded Level 4 Sales Training Apprenticeship through BMS Progress, alongside the training provided by the business.

We've already seen this progression in action, with a graduate placed by BMS in September 2024 moving into a client-facing role with a company car.

What are we looking for?

You don't need previous sales experience. We're more interested in your attitude, potential and willingness to learn.

  • Communication skills: You're comfortable speaking to people, building relationships and getting your point across, whether through work experience, university, sport or other activities.
  • Resilience: You understand that success takes effort, can learn from setbacks and enjoy working towards a goal.

  • A commercial mindset: You're interested in how businesses operate and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to their success.

If you're a graduate looking for a role where you can build practical skills, earn a competitive starting salary and work towards a long-term career in sales, this is well worth exploring.
