About The Opportunity

Are you a recent graduate with a genuine interest in flavours, fragrances, essential oils, or natural products?

Driver Hire Chertsey is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Graduate Samples Coordinator to join their growing team at a modern facility in Surrey.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career within the flavours and fragrance industry, with full training, mentoring, and the opportunity to develop valuable technical and laboratory skills.

You’ll play an important role in coordinating samples for customers and internal teams, while gaining exposure to sensory evaluation, laboratory testing, product development, and the wider operations of an innovative international business.

The Role

As a Graduate Samples Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination, handling, and organisation of samples.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Receiving, handling, organising, and shipping incoming and outgoing samples.
  • Coordinating sample requirements with Logistics, Sales, and Quality Control teams.
  • Tracking samples and ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  • Liaising with customers and sales teams regarding sample requirements and delays.
  • Finding practical solutions to ensure samples are delivered on time.
  • Maintaining a high standard of organisation across the sample warehouse and storage areas.
  • Ensuring samples are correctly handled, labelled, and stored.
  • Taking part in sensory training and developing knowledge of essential oils and aroma chemicals.
  • Learning how to properly handle and evaluate natural products and aroma chemicals.
  • Supporting wider laboratory and sample-related activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
