Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Harrow, West London

The Role
Graduate Scientists to join our Analytical Development, Upstream PD, and Downstream PD groups. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for science or engineering graduates who are eager to contribute to the development of biopharmaceutical products through hands-on lab work, experimentation, and data analysis. You will gain cross-functional exposure across development functions, supporting both process and analytical activities from early development through scale-up and technology transfer.
- Assist in the design and execution of laboratory experiments to support analytical development, characterization, and/or analytical evaluation of biopharmaceutical products.
- Perform preparation and handling of materials such as buffers, media, samples, and reagents under supervision.
- Operate laboratory equipment and systems relevant to analytical, upstream & downstream workflows.
- Collect, record, and analyze experimental data accurately following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Participate in lab organization, equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory management.
- Adhere to all environmental health & safety (EHS) and quality compliance guidelines during laboratory work.
- Communicate results clearly within the team and contribute to group discussions and problem-solving activities.
- Support knowledge transfer and documentation required for method transfer activities.

The Person
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
- Academic or internship-based lab experience in a life sciences or bioprocessing environment is preferred.
- Strong interest in biopharmaceutical process development and analytical sciences.
- Familiarity with lab practices such as aseptic handling, solution preparation, and use of scientific instrumentation is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and data quality.
- Enthusiastic, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
