Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is an outstanding partnership that allows our customers to use the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.
Summarized Purpose
This is an entry level / early career scientist role intended to provide extra capacity by focusing on simpler, routine QC tests so experienced analysts can concentrate on complex methods.
After full GMP training and authorization, the successful candidates will:
- Perform routine QC testing, mainly:
- pH measurement
- Karl Fischer titration
- Appearance testing
- Other simple compendial tests within their trained scope.
- Work with PQ, release, and stability samples following set priorities.
- Follow GMP, SOPs, and data integrity requirements, including accurate and timely documentation.
- Use relevant laboratory systems and equipment after training.
- Support general lab housekeeping and raise any issues/deviations via the correct channels.

Education and Experience
Essential:
- Degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Biology, etc.).
- Some hands on lab experience (academic labs, placements, internships) – comfortable with:
- Basic wet chemistry (pH, titrations, solution prep).
- General analytical / QC style lab work.
- Good attention to detail and strong documentation discipline.
Desirable (nice to have, not mandatory):
- Any experience in a GMP or regulated lab.
- Exposure to Karl Fischer, biopharmaceutical/protein analytics, or QC environments.
- Familiarity with LIMS or electronic lab systems.
