Graduate Site Engineer
Start your career on site. Learn from experienced professionals. See the projects you work on take shape.
Finished university or college and looking for your first real opportunity in construction or engineering? We’re looking for a Graduate Site Engineer who wants to build their career through hands-on experience. Rather than sitting behind a desk all day, you’ll be out on live project sites, learning how projects are delivered and developing practical engineering and surveying skills from experienced members of the team.
This is a beginning-of-career opportunity, so we’re not expecting you to know everything on day one. We’re looking for someone with the right technical foundation, a willingness to learn and the confidence to get involved.
What you’ll be getting involved in
Working alongside our Project Managers, Site Agents and wider project teams, you'll develop experience across areas including:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
