About Asterlogic
Asterlogic is a growing UK SaaS company developing AgenTrak, our workforce analytics platform used by organisations around the world to understand how their people work, improve productivity and identify opportunities to improve business processes.
We're a small, ambitious technology company where everyone has the opportunity to make a real contribution. There are no layers of bureaucracy or endless approval processes – you'll work closely with experienced developers and senior management and see the software you build being used by real customers.
We're looking for a Graduate Software Developer who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys solving problems and wants to develop their career in a real-world software engineering environment.
You don't need years of experience. We're looking for potential, enthusiasm and the ability to learn.
The role
You'll join our development team and work alongside experienced developers, gaining hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle.
You'll contribute to the development of AgenTrak, working on real features and improvements rather than simply working on training exercises or internal projects.
As you develop your skills, you'll have the opportunity to work across frontend and backend development, APIs, databases and Microsoft Azure.
You'll be expected to:
- Develop, test and maintain software as part of our development team
- Work on new features and enhancements for AgenTrak
- Turn requirements into working software
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Learn and work with our existing technology stack
- Investigate problems and help find solutions
- Work with databases and APIs
- Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum development
- Learn from experienced developers and contribute your own ideas
- Take increasing ownership of your work as your skills develop

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
