Graduate Software Developer Assessment Day – 8 October 2026

Our client is hosting an in-person Assessment Day at its Bracknell office on 8 October 2026. They are looking for talented graduates to join their Application Engineering team as Software Developers.
Our client develops cloud communications software that helps organisations improve how they interact with customers. In this role, you will help design, build, test and maintain applications used in demanding, real-world environments.
The role
Working as part of an Agile team, you will:
- Develop application features, primarily using C#.
- Help design new components and turn requirements into working software.
- Test your code thoroughly and work with Quality Assurance colleagues before release.
- Investigate bugs, maintain existing applications and contribute to platform improvements.
- Review colleagues’ code and share ideas with the wider team.
- Explore relevant new technologies and development practices.

About you
Our client is looking for candidates with:
- A bachelor’s degree in STEM, Computer Science or a related subject.
- Experience developing applications or commercial projects in C#.
- Experience with SQL, relational databases and Git.
- An understanding of Agile development, particularly Scrum.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in building reliable software.

Experience with .NET 5 or 6, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes or application security standards such as OWASP ASVS would also be valuable.
Location and selection process
The role is based in Bracknell, Berkshire. The Assessment Day will take place in person on Thursday 8 October 2026. Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete an online test before an Assessment Day invitation can be confirmed.
