Department Overview

CRFS, a global leader in Radio Frequency (RF) technology, was founded in 2007 to innovate in spectrum monitoring and geolocation. The company focuses on manufacturing and designing advanced hardware and software solutions to detect, monitor, and analyze RF signals in complex environments. This expertise has proved crucial to various sectors, including national spectrum regulators, the military, and security and intelligence services. Today, the company’s technology is recognized, preferred, and embedded in most NATO countries and deployed worldwide. CRFS’ mission is to continue pioneering sophisticated technologies for complex challenges in the RF spectrum domain.

You will join a community building embedded and desktop applications that support operations in the field. You will have a number of learning opportunities and the ability to be exposed to a wide variety of engineering challenges. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain embedded software using C#, C++17, or Rust across the software development lifecycle under general supervision.
  • Solve general technical problems with support from the wider engineering team.
  • Implement test automation, including unit, regression, and performance tests, to ensure high software quality.
  • Participate in peer code and AI reviews, applying quality standards and providing constructive feedback.

Basic Requirements

Experience and Qualifications (examples not a checklist)

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Practical knowledge and experience programming in Rust within a Linux or embedded environment.
  • C++17 (ISO/IEC 14882:2017) programming skills on Linux.
  • Development in C#,.NET, MAUI for Windows.
  • Good problem-solving ability with strong attention to software detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in small teams.
  • Experience using AI development tools to accelerate workflow while maintaining code quality.
  • Basic understanding or background in signal processing principles.
  • Exposure to distributed or networked systems.
