Description

Job Title: Graduate Shared Services Strategy and Architecture

Location: Preston (Lancashire) or Frimley (Surrey). We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 2 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Role Description

We are looking for a Graduate Architecture Management Associate to join our Enterprise Architecture team and develop your career within a dynamic defence environment. In this role, you will support experienced architects by helping to coordinate project and product demand, as well as assisting with governance forums such as architecture review boards and working groups. You will gain hands-on experience in documenting and developing architectural capabilities, while learning how architectural decisions influence large and complex organisations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to build valuable skills in architecture, governance, and strategy, with comprehensive mentoring and training provided throughout your development journey.

Core Duties

  • Support the planning, tracking and coordination of architecture demand across projects and products.
  • Create, maintain and quality check architecture documentation, ensuring records, standards, decisions and reference materials remain accurate and up to date.
  • Manage architecture information and artefacts within TeamSite, ensuring documents are organised, accessible and aligned to governance requirements.
  • Assist with architecture review meetings, capturing decisions, actions and outcomes and ensuring information is updated accurately.
  • Analyse information to identify trends, risks and opportunities, presenting findings clearly and accurately.
  • Demonstrate strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills while handling sensitive information responsibly.

Qualification Requirements

As a minimum requirement you must have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or a pass at Master’s level in the following subjects: Digital Business or Information Management related degree

Start Date: 6th September 2027

Length of Contract: Permanent Contract
