Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Graduate Structural Engineer role based in Port Talbot. The Graduate Structural Engineer will assist in the design and analysis of structural elements for buildings and infrastructure projects, preparing calculations and reports under the guidance of senior engineers. - Carrying out structural analysis

The role involves coordinating with architects and other engineering disciplines, supporting site inspections, and helping to ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. The position offers structured learning and mentoring to support professional development and progression toward chartership.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world projects.
- Competence in performing structural analysis and engineering calculations for a variety of materials and structural systems.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for producing accurate structural drawings and models.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Good understanding of relevant design codes and standards, and an interest in pursuing professional accreditation (e.g., chartered status).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to learning and taking on responsibility.
